Chartered in 2006, the Bay View Yacht Club is located within Bay View Marina, Lake Ray Hubbard, 15 miles east of Dallas, Texas. A sailing club whose members are informal and friendly, drawn together by a love of sailing and an appreciation of the charm of our idyllic lake, in order to promote the sport of sailing in the Dallas metroplex. BVYC is run and maintained entirely by its members, resulting in a close spirit of cooperation and camaraderie. Mooring for our committee boat, 'THE DELORIS S', and maintenance of our 'al fresco' club house is kindly and most generously provided by Bayview Marina owner, Mr. Jim Rosenberg, Esq. We aim to provide good fellowship among our yachting community and encourage good sportsmanship and boating safety. We are honoured and proud to associate with and compete against the fine sailors from RCYC and CLYTC, whose members also call Lake Ray Hubbard home.
